Today is Friday, March 12. We are 21 days into our 40 day adventure. I have heard from many that this is helpful, that they are finding a new soul space to love the things that God loves. I hope that is true. On Friday, a little later in the morning, I always write a longer blog. So for now, the reading for today is Psalm 143, Proverbs 12, and Colossians 3:1-17. And the thought for this morning is that LOVE is a verb. There is action, doing involved. “If you love Me, keep my commandments.” “If you say you love Me but hate your brother you are lying.” “Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friend.” Today there’s a lot of talking but not much walking. I encourage US (especially me) to love actually.
