He Restoreth My Soul

He Restoreth My Soul

WORSHIP

Be still and know that I am God. 4X  Key change. Repeat

I am the God that health thee. I am the Lord your healer.

I sent my Word and I healed your disease.

(I am the Lord, your healer.)   Key change. Repeat. Tag

As the deer panteth for the water, So my soul longs after You.

You alone are my hearts desire, And I long to worship You.

You alone are my Strength, my Shield. To You alone may my spirit yield.

I worship You, Almighty God, there is none like You.

I worship you, O Prince of Peace, that is what I want to do.

I give You praise, for You are my Righteousness.

I worship You, Almighty God, (there is none like You.)   Key change. Repeat. Tag 2X

There is none like You. No one else can touch my heart like You do.

I could search for all eternity long and find,

(There is none like You.)  Tag 3X

Turn your eyes upon Jesus.

Look full in His wonderful face.

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,

In the Light of His Glory and Grace.    Repeat

He leadeth me, O blessed thought!  O words with heav’nly comfort fraught!

Whate’er I do, where’er I be, Still ‘tis God’s hand that leadeth me

He leadeth me, He leadeth me, By His own hand He leadeth me;  His faithful

Follower I would be, For by His hand He leadeth me.

Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty

Early in the morning our song shall rise to Theee

Holy, Holy, Holy, merciful and mighty

God in three Persons, blessed Trinity

BRIDGE

My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine

For Thee all the follies of sin I resign

My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou

If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ‘tis now

What a friend we have in Jesus

All our sins and griefs to bear!

What a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer!

CHORUS

O what peace we often forfeit

O what needless pain we bear

All because we do not carry

Everything to God in prayer

Repeat Chorus

Have Thine own way, Lord!  Have Thine own way!

Thou art the Potter, I am the clay

Mold me and make me after Thy will

While I am waiting, yielded and still

I am thine, Oh, Lord

I have heard thy voice

And it told Thy love to me

But I long to rise in the arms of faith

And be closer drawn to Thee

Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord

To the cross where Thou hast died;

Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer blessed Lord

To Thy precious, bleeding side

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus – There’s just something about that Name

Master, Savior, Jesus  Like the fragrance after the rain

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus  Let all heaven and earth proclaim

Kings and Kingdoms will all pass away,  but there’s something about that name

Kings and Kingdoms will all pass away, but there’s something about that name

A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord, A wonderful Savior to me

He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock where rivers of pleasure I see

He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock that shadows a dry thirsty land

He hideth my life in the depths of His love and covers me there with His hand

And covers me there with His hand

Why should I feel discouraged     Why should the shadows come

Why should my heart feel lonely    And long for heaven and home

When Jesus is my portion,  A constant Friend is He

His eye is on the sparrow  and I know He watches me

His eye is on the sparrow,  and I know He watches me.

I sing because I’m happy,  I sing because I’m free.  For His eye is on the sparrow,

And I know He watches me   (repeat 3 times)

You dance over me   while I am unaware

You sing all around  but I never hear a sound

Lord, I’m amazed by You,  Lord, I’m amazed by You

Lord, I’m amazed by You,  How you love me!

Repeat last 2 lines

BRIDGE

Yes, Jesus loves me.  Yes, Jesus loves me.  Yes, Jesus loves me.  The Bible tells me so.

Key change and repeat

Oh, how He loves you and me.  Oh, how He loves you and me.  He gave His life

What more could He give?  Oh, how He loves me.  Oh, how He loves you.  Oh, how

He loves you and me.

‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus.  Just to take Him at His Word

Just to rest upon His promise  And to know, “thus saith the Lord”

Jesus, Jesus how I trust Him!  How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er!

Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!  Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

BRIDGE

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,  that saved a wretch like me.

I once was lost, but now I’m found, was blind but now I see.

Key Change

Twas’ grace that taught my heart to fear.  And grace my fears relieved.

How precious did that grace appear   the hour I first believed.

Key Change

When we’ve been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun

We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise, than when we first begun.

I can only imagine what it will be like,  when I walk by Your side.

I can only imagine what my eyes will see when Your face is before me.

I can only imagine…..

  1. Oh how comforting! The words of these songs, take me back to the days of my childhood. I travel there each day, as I listen to this beautiful CD…and I smile.

  2. It has been a weird day for me. Cold, and dreary, and I kinda wanted to be a bit depressed, but remembered my Mom never let me do that. I turned on my computer, and there was “He Restoreth My Soul”, with all my favorite songs, and I sang everyone of them.
God knew exactly what I needed. Thank you.
